On
this
page we hope to give a nice overview of some of the species you’re
able to catch while fishing an Edge
Charter.

Tarpon,
"the silver king", whether day or night fishing, there
is no thrill like Catching these monsters! They grow up to seven
feet long and can weigh over 200 lbs. They are very acrobatic, so
hang on tight!

Snook are "ambush" feeders. They like to lay up on the
edges, flats, and under-cut banks, and feed on the "passers
by," allowing the angler to cast their bait right where they
are lying.

Bonefish are the “ghost of the flats,” very stealthy
and elusive. These guys are not for amateurs, skilled casting is
a must as they are spooky and are very finicky eaters.

Redfish are found in very shallow water. You can usually see the
"push" of water as they come close....the fun is in seeking
them out. We go way back to Everglades National Park for these.
They’re easy to spook, but a blast to catch!

The Permit is amazingly fast! To catch a permit you have to stay
alert, as they are for “sight casters.” They are one
of the hardest fish to catch in the Florida Keys. But we’ll
put you on them.
