I've been
fishing in the Florida Keys for over 25 years, fished with maybe
a dozen guides. I can tell you, though, that chartering Capt.
Bruce Pollock is the closest thing I've come to fishing with your
"old fishing buddy" from back home. All these charter
captains know how to fish, but Capt.
Bruce is one of the few that I have fished with that truly
wants to catch fish, whatever it takes. Spin, fly,
bait: "The Edge" knows how to get 'em. On my last trip
(June 2008), we caught dolphin- on fly, out front, and tarpon-on
bait, that same evening in the back country. Days 2 and 3 were
identical, but thrown in were a large posse of Snook and several
Blacktip Shark, for good measure! I won't fish in the Keys with
anyone else.

When I was
told about Bruce Pollock, (Edge Charters,) and the way he conducts
his charters, I was not buying it. I wasn't buying the fact that
he treats you like a VIP, and basically does everything in his
power to allow you to have whatever type of day on the water you
choose. I was wrong, this guy is all class.
We contacted him through his website and told him what type of
fishing we were interested in. He got back to us immediatley with
weather reports, a suggested day, and even a link to a place to
stay! Needless to say what I was told was true, because we went
out on his suggested day, and slayed the Yellowtail. We wanted
some good eating fish to bring home, and ended up with more Yellowtail
and Hogfish than we could handle.

I am a Cinci
girl who just loves to fish, but has no idea how or where to go
or what to do here in S. FLorida. I found Florida-Keys-Fishing-Guides
on Google and was so impressed with the site I decided to contact
Mr. Pollock He got back to me within hours, and spent 20 minutes
on the phone helping me with my dockfishing. He was so helpfull
the girls and I decided to go down there and do a charter. Highly
recommended! We're going again.
